The "Star Pokémon" in Pokémon Go It's like a big party that happens every week. And at this party, a cool Pokémon takes center stage.

Previously, this used to happen during what is called "Mystery Bonus Hour," but in April 2020 they decided to combine the party with "Star Pokémon Hour."

During that hour, as if it were a shower of stars, the main Pokémon will appear everywhere. Imagine, a bunch of that Pokémon! You'll be able to catch lots of them, which is great if you want to complete your Pokédex collection or if you're looking for a strong Pokémon for raid battles.

Also, during this party we don't forget the bonus. This bonus is like a “Push” that helps you on your Pokémon journey. Most of the time it's extra candy when we transfer Pokémon, which makes evolving our friends faster, or extra Stardust when we catch one.

And, as with the “Community Day” mega-party, the purpose of “Pokémon Star Hour” is so that all of us who play Pokémon Go can share and enjoy together. It's like a big party of Pokémon lovers!

How to prepare for Featured Pokémon Time in Pokémon Go

Hey, do you want to have a great time at Pokémon Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go and get the most out of the game? Here are some ideas on how to do it, let's go!

First, make sure you have plenty of Pokéballs and Berries in your backpack. You'll only have one hour to catch as many Pokémon as you can, you don't want to waste it spinning PokéStops, right?

Second, check if there is enough space in your Pokémon Storage. It's not cool at all that in the middle of the game you have to start transferring Pokémon, unless of course, the bonus is double the amount of candy per transfer, that's cool there.

Third, see if you have at least one Bait. If you start it during this event, you will see that more Pokémon will appear in your path and of course, that means more opportunities to catch the Featured Pokémon.

Lastly, since the Mystery Bonus Hour is now part of this event, you should consider using a Lucky Egg or Star Piece. This will earn you even more XP or Stardust, perfect if you're trying to level up or preparing for the Go Battle League.

That's it, guys! Now you're ready to make the most of Pokémon Spotlight Hour. Have fun and catch Pokémon!
